The EMT Skills Competency Verification Approved By The EMSA trains participants to provide a wide variety of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs)/Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) or other healthcare professionals the ability to recognize and perform psychomotor skills and several life-threatening emergencies in the field of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) which include but not limited to the following: (1.) Trauma AssessmentMedical Assessment (2.) Bag-Valve-Mask Ventilation (3.) Oxygen Administration (4.) Cardiac Arrest Management w/ AED (5.) Hemorrhage Control & Shock Management (6.) Spinal Motion Restriction – Supine & Seated (7.) Penetrating Chest Injury (8.) Epinephrine & Naloxone Administration (9.) Childbirth & Neonatal Resuscitation
