Two New Rules in Effect in 2019 for Palm Desert Resuscitation Education

(PDRE)’s Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Labs, and Emotional Support (S.T.A.B.L.E.) Program

In guaranteeing effective and up-to-date evidenced-based guidelines and recommendations by Palm Desert Resuscitation Education (PDRE)’s Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Labs, and Emotional Support (S.T.A.B.L.E.) Program, our excellent course instructors now tailor to a pair of training and imperative changes that count towards the Lead and Support Instructor Teaching Requirements:

  1. PDRE Instructors will be teaching clinical modules to receive credit for teaching (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, or Lab work modules) and, effective 2019, both Airway Module Part 1 and Part 2 will count towards teaching.
  • The Emotional Support Module will always be taught by our PDRE S.T.A.B.L.E. Program Instructors regardless if it does NOT count for teaching credit since the content is very important for Learners to know how to best support families.
  • Since the Lead PDRE S.T.A.B.L.E. Program Instructor is verifying and vouching for the integrity of the course, which Lead Instructor will always teach at least one of the clinical modules in that course with a Supporting PDRE S.T.A.B.L.E. Program Instructor (s).
  1. Teleconference or Distance Learning T.A.B.L.E. Program coursesby PDRE Lead and Supporting Instructors will NOT be the standard of teaching and training for any of our exceptional PDRE facilities and campuses.
  • Teleconference or Distance Learning T.A.B.L.E. Program coursesby PDRE Instructors, if chosen as a part of the didactic presentations, will adhere to the operative changes in telecommunication training.
  • PDRE’s T.A.B.L.E. Program didactic presentations are designed for in-person classroom presentations in our contemporary facilities and campuses, which allows for the PDRE S.T.A.B.L.E. Program Instructor to interact with its valued guests, clients, and students as well answer specific and unique questions; ensure each individual has a Learner Manual for use during the course; administer successfully quizzes at the end of each module and determine readiness to move to the next module; and administer accordingly the final mixed module test and collect student answer sheets.
  • The integrity of the PDRE’s T.A.B.L.E. Program may be compromised via any form of distance learning and, therefore, will not be offered at any of our PDRE facilities and campuses since in-persons classroom presentations creates a better environment for learning and feedback as well as a well-rounded form of in-facility education.
  • Each course offered by PDRE for its brilliant and outstanding T.A.B.L.E. Program seminars will always have an official Room Monitor present for all parts of the course. Ideally a registered Lead or Support PDRE S.T.A.B.L.E. Program Instructor is present in the classroom to serve as one of the Instructors.
